Morgan began her nursing career in 2000 as an operating room nurse for Nebraska Medicine. She quickly established herself as a leader in the department and obtained progressive leadership positions including a charge nurse role 2007 which led to becoming the Procedural Services Manager in 2015.

Mrs. Shradar joined the Nebraska Medicine Biocontainment Unit team in 2009 and was a part of the care team that treated patients with Ebola Virus Disease during the 2014-2015 activations. In 2019, Morgan pursued her true passion and became a Nursing Professional Development Specialist in the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit. As one of the nurse leaders for the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit she played an active role in supporting the healthcare staff and providing care for individuals with novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in both the National Quarantine Unit and Nebraska Biocontainment Unit.

Morgan serves as a subject matter expert with the National Emerging Special Pathogens Education and Training Center (NETEC) and is the acting Co-Director of National Disaster Medical Systems training for the Global Center for Health Security at University of Nebraska Medical Center. As a recognized subject matter expert she has spoken at multiple leading conferences including ANCC National Magnet Conference, World Congress of Supply Chain Leaders and NETEC webinars.

Mrs. Shradar received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Emergency Preparedness at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
